This first Student of the Week of 2011 is setting the bar high.
Fairfield High School senior Eric Lee says hard work pays off.
He is in the top two in his class which he's been president of since sophomore year.
Lee is a fellowship Christian athlete leader, National Honor Society member and co-founder of Fairfield's Young Republican Club.
"Basically the goal of the club is to spread our ideas in the community and start some political activism in high school," said Lee.
His report card has been nothing but A's his entire high school career.
Lee is also involved with the J.Kyle Raid Leadership Foundation, sits on the principal's Cabinet and plays tennis.
As Captain of Fairfield's swim team, Lee is looking forward to the state meet next month.
Lee is deciding on college right now and plans on going into denistry.
"Denistry would be great. Also open up for a ministry. I think it would be a great experience to go down to Central America and do the cleft lip surgeries. I've looked into it and I would love to do that," said Lee.
Congratulations Eric and good luck!
